It's taken until round 11 but after a terrific tussle long lasting ladder leader ZenBen has been reeled in by popular uglybustards legend stanleymarsh. It's game on in the joker ladder with both of them sharing the tipping points lead after a bonus fiver full card pick for stanley. Ben's great effort so far enables him to just hold outright first place as he has the better margin.
Meanwhile the jackpot went off like a firecracker up Tony Abbott's arse in round 10 with Anthony Aiello, Flopalot, powerful, John Longmire and stanleymarsh all tipping the smaller full card of 6. Unfortunately Collingwood diehard Aiello alias @the_tony forfeited the $10 to Flopalot who wisely entered the prize pool, and The Tony forgoes a deposit towards his new set of dentures.

2014 R6-9 - Ballistic Ben Busts outa Blocks as Prize Pool Published
Officially we are now 1/3 through the 27 rounds of the season including finals and ZenBen has gone absolutely ballistic busting the field wide open. Not only does he hold the joker ladder lead, the standard ladder and margin ladder lead, he pocketed $30 in the jackpot in R8. If it wasnt for Muddafkkr in the Trivia comp he'd have the clean sweep!
However its early days yet as Paul Roos keeps saying, and astute commentators point towards the standard ladder as a good guide to early form without jokers to influence proceedings. Flopalot is shaping as the dark horse, along with perennial-podium-placegetter and two-time-titleholder Arnold Layne, young talent Bill Griggs, and not forgetting the remonstrator, Mik Barley.

2014 R4,5 - Ben's Buffer keeps Bill at Bay
5 rounds down in 2014 and the ladder is starting to take shape with ZenBen's astute use of 3 jokers placing him at the top of the table. Bill Griggs is well positioned in 2nd with four jokers up his sleeve while completing the podium is stanleymarsh who's used up 2 jokers.
