2014 R4,5 - Ben's Buffer keeps Bill at Bay

5 rounds down in 2014 and the ladder is starting to take shape with ZenBen's astute use of 3 jokers placing him at the top of the table. Bill Griggs is well positioned in 2nd with four jokers up his sleeve while completing the podium is stanleymarsh who's used up 2 jokers.

Billy Griggs leads the standard ladder by one point over ZenBen and Mik Barley, the latter keeping his powder dry with the full arsenal of five jokers available.  Other dark horses are Flopalot, Arnold Layne, Amy Jones and reigning champ Sam Griggs with plenty of scoring power left in the joker department.

Only 7 days til the April 30 prize pool deadline, contact uglybustard@uglybustards.com asap for details - $30 gets you entry  into the prize pool and eligibility for all prizes & the collectors item Uglybustards stubby holder, while $20 gets you just the entry into the prize pool.

Not much action in the Jackpot since the season began in a flurry of weekly prize winnings with cowell starring early. And we're still waiting for the first tipper to get the full card using a joker, will it be 23 points or 28?  Whatever it is it will be a major boost up the ladder.

The margin comp has seen some radical climbs and falls with Ajaywatts dropping from 1st to 24th, while ZenBen leads by 25 points and is tipping out of his skin in 2014. Debutant Blue Girl has climbed steadily up to 2nd, while stalwart and hall of fame legend Arnold Layne is 3rd, less than a goal ahead of early leader Peter Lewis.

The Trivia comp is taking off this year with Muddafkkr on 83/100, ahead of Uglybustard 79/100 and gonadbreath spleeter 76/100. Griggsy and Simon Williams are also on the pace in 4th and 5th respectively. To join the Trivia comp, login to footytips.com.au then go to http://www.footytips.com.au/tipping/afl/trivia.

A controversial topic on twitter of late has been who's going to get the Good Friday gig next year.  Of course it should be the Saints and the Demons, but there is also a push for the Gold Coast Suns so that the Son of God can play. However should Ablett have a terrible day the headline "Son of God Crucified on Good Friday" will no doubt be inked up and ready to go. But as long as Collingwood or Essendon don't get a guernsey on the day, all will be well. Who are your picks for Good Friday?
