2018 Uglybustards Underway with Unfurling of Flag

yes all youse Uglybustards the 2018 season is well and truly underway as we're 5 rounds down and its already a tipsters nightmare!!!  This week we see the presentation of the 2017 Uglybustards Cup to last year's winner Griggsy, who will be doing a lap of honour at the Round 6 Geelong Vs Sydney game at Kardinia Park this Saturday 28th April at 1:45pm.  Be sure to tune in so you don't miss it.

2017 Winner Griggsy

Griggsy was off like a shot in his 2018 title defence picking the full card in R1 and getting the 5 point bonus.  But Rod "The Tilt" Carter had reeled him in by round 4 and maintains a 3 point lead at the end of round 5.   The Ox holds 3rd spot but only by a close margin from SweetCaroline, ahead of a tight bunch including Anthony Aiello, BUDGEWOISFINEST, The Gee Thingy's, Arnold Layne, Flopalot and 2016 Champ Mik.  Such is the toughness of 2018 Griggsy remains the only one to pick the full card so far.

To be eligible for the coveted 1st prize 2018 Uglybustards Guernsey and cash prizes, your $20 entry fee must be submitted to the Bank of Uglybustard by cob Wednesday May 30th.  Same account details as in previous years, if unsure email uglybustard@uglybustards.com.

We need a minimum of 20 paid up entries to run a weekly jackpot plus podium cash prizes down to 3rd place.  If we don't reach this it may be a winner take all series in 2018.
