AFL Finals Results Week 2 - Final Four Feathers Fly

The Finals on the weekend showed how important it is to finish top 4, with both semi's almost a replica of each other. The WA teams both got out to a flyer early in the first quarter, only to be slowly reeled in by the the home town bookies' favourites.  The end result; a flock of feathers for the finals as the Hawks host the Crows, and the Swans manage the Magpies.

Spot Prize #7 is alive for the 4th week running. Uglybustards Tipping Results Finals Week 2

Longee has become the Uglybustards tipping ladder Champion and Premiership Title-holder for 2012. Congratulation Longee, you take home $170 cash and a Broo Beer Merchandise Pack. After many years around the mark in the top 10 he has broken through with a stellar season, where it was nip and tuck with reigning Champ Griggsy, but when it came to the business end of the season he tore away. With three games to go, Longee leads by 4 and cannot be beaten for the Cup. In the battle for the final place on the podium powerful has come from the clouds to overtake yours truly in Uglybustard, with Craig Nettlebeck 5th, Sam Griggs 6th and Billycat 7th.

The margin comp appears now to also be a forgone conclusion with 2 margin games to go, with Uglybustard clearing out to a 32 point lead over Rod Carter with David Feck'Em a further 2 goals in arrears. The big mover into 3rd prize contention is Iain Johnson whose form in recent weeks has seen him jump for 17th to 4th. Don't worry lads I'll be going the Uglybustards Executive Pen in the prize pool.

The jackpot went this week went to Sam Griggs who picked both winners and was just one point off the margin. He takes the $5 for the second week of the finals.
